The service consists of a dedicated work force of chartered physiotherapists and support staff who are skilled in thorough assessment, evidenced based treatment and management of musculoskeletal conditions. Physiotherapy staff will provide rehabilitation of joints, muscle/tendon and spine (musculoskeletal). Quality and outcome are paramount, with a patient centred approach. Treatment focuses on the development of treatment goals and progression to self-management strategies.
Airedale Musculoskeletal Outpatient Physiotherapy also delivers First Contact physiotherapy within primary care. You may therefore be seen by a physiotherapist in the GP practice for an initial assessment who can advise you and refer you on for further care if required.
You will be referred by the GP, musculoskeletal service or First Contact physiotherapist. You can choose where you go for treatment. We can help you decide where the best place is for you to be seen. We can also provide telephone and video consultation.
